The car wash to raise defense funds for JoAnn and Rich McCabe is THIS Saturday, March 29 and HELP is still needed for car wash volunteers, sign makers and supplies.
We have 9 and one-half volunteers to staff the car wash. We need at least ten more volunteers – both car washers and sign holders. If we cannot get enough volunteers, it is not going to happen and that would be a tremendous shame because we can raise between $1,000 and $2,000 – we need YOUR help!
The car wash will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot behind Copykatz Showroom at 200 S. Palm Canyon at the corner of Arenas and S. Palm Canyon. You don’t have to be there the entire time – that’s why we have 9 and one-half volunteers because one of the volunteers can only be there for three hours. So check your calendar and if you can help, please let me know ASAP by sending me an email or calling me at 760-799-2055.
We also need signs and banners made up. This can be done at your home. If you need materials, we can supply them or reimburse you for them. If you can make up some signs and banners, please let me know as ASAP as well.
We also need hoses, nozzles, buckets and towels. If you have any of these that you can loan us for the day, please let me know about that as well.
We have raised a little over $6,000 for the McCabe defense fund, but another $9,000 is still needed. We could do it with a little help from our friends. Can you be a friend this Saturday, March 29?
