It’s Time to Kick the Butts of the San Bernardino Co. Board of Supervisors to Allow Cannabis Businesses
Riverside County has allowed cannabis businesses to open as permitted under Prop. 64. It’s time for San Bernardino County to end their reefer madness and enter the 21st century and allow cannabis businesses too.
It can be done and we are going to discuss just how it can be done on a Zoom meeting on Tuesday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. that is open to all. Here is what we will be discussing:
- A letter and phone campaign to every San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors’ member asking that San Bernardino follow in the footsteps of Riverside County and enact an ordinance that will regulate and license cannabis businesses including cultivation, manufacture, distribution (sales) and on-site consumption lounges.
- Organize a meeting with each member of the SBBOS to secure their support to direct the Planning Commission to develop an ordinance that will allow cannabis businesses in San Bernardino County.
- Determine what actions can be taken to elect SBBOS members who will support allowing cannabis businesses by “unelecting” any SBBOS member who refuses to take action to allow cannabis businesses. This will include getting political activist-oriented' individuals to run against them and joining a coalition of organizations that can get them elected.
Joining us on the meeting will be cannabis activists and political experts that can provide the blueprints that will be make us an effective force. Put it on your calendar now. Forward this email to all your cannabis consuming friends and family member and ask them to join in on the Zoom conference.
Note: You can attend this meeting on your computer and also by phone. See the information below for the Zoom weblink and for phone numbers to call.
